Inspiration

Mary and Joseph are seen as a young couple. Mary is expecting a child; her strong husband, Joseph, stands devotedly beside her. He is loving, trusting and appears to be a strong working man. He carries a carpenter’s square in his right hand, which speaks of his ability to “square” things up as well as his trade. Mary is looking across the transept at Jesus on The Cross. One hand is placed upon her womb, and the other is extended toward The Crucifixion Scene across the Cathedral. She sees the day that she will have to feel the pain of giving up her son to fulfill God’s plan and His destiny.

BRONZE ART REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE

If you have a piece of art that is in need of re-patina or repair, our team is able to assist you. Firebird Bronze also offers a maintenance service contract to keep your outdoor art looking new at all times. We are able to protect it from further oxidation by providing re-waxing services in the Spring and Fall seasons.

Price : The price for repair and maintenance is $125 per hour.

LOST WAX CASTING

This 6,000 year-old method of production is loved by artists, jewelers, and machinists because it maintains even the smallest detail. Our team of talented artisans has hundreds of combined years experience in this field- no job is too small or too large.

For bronze art crating and packging, our foundry offers a few different services:

We use sealed-air foam to secure your fragile shipments of art for small and medium-size bronzes.
For larger bronzes, we use specially built custom wood crates.
